The door knobs are fitted to a threaded steel spindle bar which will allow for very fine adjustments to suit various door thickness, secured with grub screws and each pair come with two loose fitting solid brass back plates, generally will fit doors from approx 50mm thick down to 30mm thick, the spindles can be easily cut/shortened if your doors are thinner, all fixing screws are supplied. Beautiful addition to any period home.
