This CD was originally released in 2002, and it was limited to only 1,000 copies. The following is what I found online about the band and reviews from various sources.

\"man this band is good I love the hard hitting tunes and the sound reminds me of a cross between skid row and ugly kid joe\"

The Global Muse - \"Something wicked is great! The idea is to simply make good music and attention will come your way. The kind of good music that I’m referring to is the kind that Something Wicked brings to the table. With several influences from the metal scene of days past, Something Wicked breathes a fresh new life into a great genre. Something Wicked is a band that have all of the qualities that hard rock/metal has been missing for so long. They are exactly what metal is all about. They are exactly what metal has come to be.\"

\"The chemistry between the members of Something Wicked was obvious on stage. That chemistry together brought Something Wicked several awards including Best Live Band, Best Vocalist, Best Metal CD, and Best Metal Song.\"

At the 2001 JPFolks Music Awards Something Wicked took home the top honors for BEST METAL CD for the 2nd year in a row for their CD release \"100% Wicked\".

Something Wicked was also a finalist in the 10th Annual L.A. music awards, and just recently their song \"Black Roses\" was licensed by MTV for use in their show Undressed.

The new material has gotten great press, and response from media and fans alike, and saw radio airplay on WRZX (X103), WFBQ (Q95), and one of Germany\'s big 5 radio stations, along with countless Internet Stations.

\"If you still like your Rock \'n Roll with melody, power, soul, & some crunch you\'re sure to dig \"100% Wicked\" by Something Wicked. At least give it a listen\".

“This new CD is a great follow up work and could be the thing that pushes these guys through the roof. I was even more impressed by this new album because of the intensity and the power that it emulates,” writes Michael Allison from the The Global Muse.

After 10 years together Something Wicked is still hard at it creating their own brand of hard and heavy rock ‘n roll with a “wicked” edge. This new CD release finds Something Wicked at it’s very best. Their previous self titled release won them the “Best Independent Metal/Hard Rock CD” at the JPFolks music awards last year in L.A., and this new CD is sure to do even more in establishing them within the industry. Brian Austin Whitney from JPFolks.com says “as I listen to their new album and their latest tracks this year, it is clear they have really found their stride and groove. Hard Rock is alive and well and as wicked as ever.”

From the opening track of “Paint Me Up” to the ending track of “Live” this 12 song CD from Something Wicked has what it takes to find its’ way into CD players all across the country. “This new CD from Something Wicked doesn’t just contain 3 or 4 decent songs with a bunch of fillers thrown in to complete the disc. You’ll be hard pressed to find a song on “100% Wicked” that you don’t like, as each song seems to be just as good as the one before it. Don’t be surprised if you hear a lot more about this band in the very near future, as they are proving that they have everything it takes to be successful in the music business. “

Something Wicked breathes a fresh new life into a great genre. The vocals are superior and the musicianship is absolute. It’s one thing to be different, but it’s another to be different and good in the same package, and this band is both,” writes Michael Allison of The Global Muse. “100% Wicked” will kick you square in the teeth, and have you coming back for more and more.

Quote: \"Something Wicked is relentless on their “100% Wicked” CD, from their raging, thrashing electric guitars to the demonic lead vocal to the driving percussion\".

By Jennifer Layton

If Freddy Krueger fronted a rock band, this would be it. Something Wicked is relentless on their “100% Wicked” CD, from their raging, thrashing electric guitars to the demonic lead vocal to the driving percussion. They barely pause between tracks, plunging right into the next song before you can get the license plate number of the previous one that just ran you slam over.

I’ll have to admit that the “badass rock boys” image always makes me laugh, but this music does kicks some serious hindparts. What impresses me most about this band is their disciplined songwriting. So many rock/metal bands, especially the younger ones, think it’s enough to just have nonstop roaring rock noise and a screeching vocal. Something Wicked avoids the trap of losing the song in the noise. I can actually understand some of these lyrics, and each song has a melody that hooks.

“God For a Day” is particularly well-written. This song, which I played three times in a row, describes the rush and feeling of invincibility from a drug hit. Then the other shoe drops: “Now my heart’s racing death, it’s beating out of my chest. I got a head full of nothing and I’m covered in sweat. All I really needed was one good hit. All I really needed was to be God for a day.”

“Hard as a Fist” is also a standout for its pounding rap delivery in that evil voice. And I like the mystic, fog-swirling atmosphere created by “Cold Angry Bed.” Despite the constant electric guitar thrashing, each song has a distinct sound and mood. Something Wicked isn’t just here to make noise. They’re here to tell some loud, angry stories. Listen closely, but stay out of the way.
