1935 isapproximate copyright date...this globe does not haveIsrael as a nation yetwhichdoes date it before 1948 and Iran had became a Country at this time which did so happen in about 1935. I believe my History is correct of the date of the globe and please correct me if I am wrong.Vintage German Globe is in goodconditionfor its age...there is some small scraping on the bottom and few nicks and scratches. Pictures showconditionof globe and I took quite few different angles to show.
The globe is not touching on the bottom and is not scraping there no more becausethere is a rubber insert there and also one on top.
The Wood Base is showing a tiny bit of separationof the wood where it was laminated/glued together in sections as shown on the bottom of base (refer to picture)...it is solid and holding well not falling or coming apart but just showing a tiny bit of separationis all.
Over all for the age of this globe it is in good condition.
Globe is 12 inches, base is 8 1/2 inches.

Globe will ship styro-foamed packed inside large cardboard box with reinforcement.
