12 English Ironstone Fine China Dinner Plates w/ Imari Colors & Asian Design 9\"
Presented is a wonderful 12 piece antique set of Englishironstone fine chinaplates.These lovely pieces are highly decorated around the border and in the center with the Imari palette of colors - blue, reddish-orange, and burgundy.
The design is done in an Asian motif. A village and water scene decorate the centers of these plates. Gilding accents much of the plate.
The cobalt blue edges are scalloped and feature beautiful gilding and geometric decorations.
They arestamped with an English crown markand Real IronstoneChina. It is a possibility thatthey were made by Masons Company, but we cannot guarantee it.
These plates weremade in England.
They date circathe 1840s through the 1860s.
Of the twelve plates in this lot, seven have crazing and are mostly discolored.

One of these seven has a hairline crack to the rim.
One has a minor chip to the top rim. One plate has a chip to the foot rim which can only be seen when turned over.
Of the twelve plates, the other five have crazing and minor discoloration.
