12 VERY VERY RAREASSORTED COLORED JAPANESE OHIKI BANTAM HATCHING EGGS fromNICE QUALITY BREEDERS!

First off, I\'d like to make everyone aware that this is an extremely rare breed around the world. Very very few people have these so please beware of any ohiki being sold without fully checking out the seller. Many are selling half breeds or home made mutts , I see it all the time. You can rest assured these are 100% the real deal and all my stock came direct from Mrs. Astin who imported them. For the breeds sake, and your pocket book, please know what you are buying first!!

This is our exceptional line ofJapaneseOhiki . These are true Japanese bantams! They were imported to the US back in 2002 by Toni-Marie Astin threw help from Marc King of Italy. These are the real thing, not the common mix bred mutts that are popping up and being called ohiki. These are direct from Toni, If they arent chances are they arent ohiki. I have worked with these for several years now and finally am to the point of where I can start letting a few go to others. Though it wont be many. I took several years to workwith and fine tune my stock. My main breeding roostersare dragging the ground heavily now and the saddlesthey have are to die for. The ohiki is now one of Japans national tressure breeds and it is now a felony for them to export any more, making the breed even harder to find. They are a true dwarf bantam. They have extremely tiny legs, a good bird will have basically a foot on a thigh, almost no shaft. Their tails and saddles are extremely soft and thin, but they are a multiple feathered breed which makes for tons of feathering. Basically they look like dust mops when walking. They do best when kept off bare dirt due to this, it just messes up the feathering. Toni had about bred the dietary issues out of the birds, so that isnt much of a problem any more on US stock ohiki. These are a very rare find anywhere in the world, and I do prefer they go to people who will cherrish them and take good care of them. If at any point you have any questions what so ever about these, please e-mail me. I prefer to help you in any way I can when it comes to proper care for these birds. And will be happy to help in any way I can. Dont miss your chance on these. There arent many to be had anywhere in the world any more...I need to take some new pictures of my current stock as well. Plan to do that soon and will up load them as soon as I can. These eggs will be from any of our very wide array of colors. We have mottled, spangled, duckwings, birchens, gingers, creams, barred, fly tie genetic versions, blacks, duns, etc the list goes on and on, but all are exceptional birds... several eggs from each pen will be included so you have a good chance at pairs. Due to the breeding work that was done to save this breed when it first came to the US, some cull type birds will still pop up in any stock. Bare this in mind. However, we have culled very hard to minimize this over the past few years here, and ask that you do the same with your new birds. If you have ANY questions regarding which birds you should keep and which should be culled, do feel free to ask at any time. Even if they aren\'t from me.

We love all long tailed breeds here. We also keep imported large fowl phoenix from Germany, bantam phoenix, sumatra. And have many varities of each. Feel free to contact us about any of these.

If you have any questions about these or any of our bantams, please feel free to ask.

To see more pics of all our bantams, we welcome everyone to come to our website, boggybottombantams or our FB page under the same name. There are close to 500 pics of our birds on there. Thanks for looking and good luck!

PLEASE READ BEFORE offerDING!

We gladly combine shipping on our hatching egg sales! For each additional set you win, just add $4 to the first ones shipping cost . We can get up to 4 dozen in a box on most cases. I will send you a revised invoice at the end of the sale reflecting this credit. All combined sales must be ending within a reasonable time of each other to combine shipping. Please remember there is a lot of expense that goes into shipping hatching eggs safely, not to mention the sale and Paypal fees. We spare no cost on our end to give you the best chance possible of hatching as many of these as you can. That being said, the price from the P.O. on the box is not all that we have to spend to do this for you. Please remember this when leaving response..

We can only ship to buyers in the USA sorry.

We prefer Paypal, as these are usually ready to ship the day following the sale, therefore speed is essential to get these to you as fresh as possible. Please pay at the close of the sale! I have to work for a living still, so any payment recieved after I go to bed sale night will delay your shipping a day!

Shipping egg disclaimer!

We always monitor fertility here at the farm, and are constantly hatching eggs from all our breeds and colors (have8 incubators running most all the time) So we know exactly what our birds fertility is like. If it ever falls below 90%, we pull our sales for those breeds. We never wash eggs, as this can kill the embryo. But we always send, clean, fresh viable eggs.

We go the extra mile in packing all our eggs! Each egg will be individually bubble wrapped, placed in an egg carton, packed with filler, and taped shut. We then wedge it very tightly in the box and pack to nearly burst the box, everything we can to keep them from getting shook up in transit. It is our greatest wish that you receive them in excellent condition and are able to hatch as many as possible. Check our response and you\'ll see this is true. However, these are a very fragile and perishable item and like all egg sellers, once they leave the farm, we can not be held liable for them. The rigours of the Postal Service can be very hard on them and render them unhatchable, but not infertile, these are two different things. Therefore, please understand the risks involved BEFORE you place a offer. We do not issue refunds on hatching eggs. All sales are final. We are always glad to talk bird, so if you are new to this, or have any questions at all, feel free to ask away. I always reply within 24 hours. If you dont hear from me, check your e-mail filters...

Thanks for your business!!!
