Our Lady of Grace
Here is a classic and traditional artwork produced by the world famous studio founded by N.B. Basevi of Milan, Italy. It features a depiction of the Blessed Virgin Mary as she appeared to Saint Catherine Laboure in France in 1830. The image of Our Lady of Grace is setagainst a background of rich billowing clouds as she is stands upon a globe with her foot crushing the head of the serpent. She wears a white tunic and a blue mantle to symbolize her eternal innocence and purity. A halo of twelve stars surrounds her head and rays of light emanate from her hands to symbolize the graces that will be given to those who ask for them. The feast day of Our Lady of Grace is May 31st. The picture is 13 1/2\" wide x 17 1/2\" tall and printed on linen finish paper,which lasts much longer than regular card stock making it perfect for framing. The poster can be mounted in a traditional way with glass and frame and displayed in a chapel or sacred space as meditation aid.
