13 1/4\"RARE ANTIQUE TURNED OAK WOOD SCOTCH WHISKEY BOTTLE/DECANTER, C. 1910, TN.:
$38.50
For sale is this rare, hard to find, turned oak scotch whiskey bottle/decanter, made in the early 1900\'s by the Lookout Mt. Wood Novelty Co., Chattanooga, Tn. I am from Chattanooga, and this is a family piece. The bottom was plugged with cork, and the bottle was never lined but sterilized with flame. The whiskey was put directly into the bottles to age, thus eliminating the need for barrels. It stands 13 1/4\" tall, with 3 decorative bands in the middle--the original label is missing--and 3 1/2\" in diameter on the bottom. Please view all of the photographs and ask any questions before offerding, as it is sold as is.
