13\" German Antique Papier Mache Composition Doll Blonde Hair Leather Hands Cloth body c.1880\'sPetite 13\" antique papier mache doll, made in Germany, possibly MS Superior which were marked with a paper label that is often missing.The doll has molded blonde hair, large two tone blue painted eyes, pink painted lips with red defining line, and rosy cheeks. The finish and painting on this doll is original and not touched up. Some small rubs show that she was played with by a little girl years ago. There is no damage to the front or back of her shoulder-plate.Doll is on her original cloth body with lower leather hands. The red lower legs suggest stockings inside brown leather sewed on boots. The body is commercially made, stamped Hair Stuffed and in very good antique condition. The doll is wearing an antique floral print dress with little red roses printed on it. Circa 1880\'s.
