Diurnals are used in the performance of the Divine Office but only include the daytime canonical hours; lauds, prime, terce, sext, none, and vespers. Like Breviaries, Diurnals begin with a liturgical calendar listing the major feast days in red ink. There are two columns of twenty-eight lines of unidentified text, each written in batarde script, ruled in red; capitals alternate in red and blue inks.
