This leaf of early printing froma Biblia Graeca, Old Testament (Septuagint) Psalms 48-49, andwas printed by W. Kopfel in Strasbourg in the year 1526. Originallyfrom volume 2 of a 4 volume set the leaf is from the third editionof the complete Greek Bible edited by Johannes Lonicerus (Lonitzer).The octavo paper leaf measures 162 x 99 mm. in totality and containsthirty lines of Greek type printed single column with versal indentand guide letter. The Versocontains the same amount of lines and type. (Darlow & Moule4602) The leaf contains minor staining along the edges not affectingthe text.
