Obverse: Eagle with shield in breast
Reverse: 24 (representing 1/24th Thaler) within orb, dividing the 2 digit date
Weight: Around 1.2g
Diameter: Roughly 19mmHistory: English Translation: Sigismund III, by the grace of God, king of Poland, grand duke of Lithuania, Ruthenia, Prussia, Masovia, Samogitia, Livonia, and also hereditary king of the Swedes, Goths and Vandals.
Sigismund was elected King of Poland and reigned 1587–1632. By paternal inheritance, he also succeeded in 1592 as King of Sweden but was deposed in 1599.
