Scarce devotional/ instructional in German. Small, almost miniature, Catholic prayer book printed in the form of a chapbook, with text woodcuts depicting portraits of various saints for each hour of the day in the later half. The woodcut portraits are by several hands including many by a fairly skilled artist while a few are in a rather simpler but charming style. The tiny size of the volume, almost a miniature (4\" x 2.25\" x 1\"), allows it have been conveniently carried and used throughout the day. First section unillustrated but second with woodcut on half title and 20+ in text woodcuts.
Later hardcover boards, with some weathering and newer EPs. Hinges shaken yet intact. All pages intact and all present, although shaken in a few places. Pages with some moderate browning, but all bound and well maintained. Complete in three parts. Quite valuable and scarce. Good luck!
