We are pleased to be offering today one of the most unusual bow front curio Victorian age cabinets that we have seen in a long time. On the outside instead of protruding regular curved glass it is inverted curved glass. The doors are two bowed glass doors going the other way. It is the old glass with the straw marks in it. The finish on the cabinet is a really dark finish. It has fluted columns on all four sections. The top and the base step out. It has a wonderful applied carvings across the base with one of the carvings missing on the right foot that we will detail out before shipping. It also has a small piece of molding missing that we will also detail out before shipping. The cabinet has four adjustable shelves with plate grooves in the back. It comes with the original Victorian age key and dates from the 1880s. it doesn’t get much better original than this. It has triple plate grooves in the back of the multi-bevel edge shelves. It has fluted columns, carved base, fluted legs and it is just nice all the way around. It is in the original finish showing just minor nicks and dings. The overall size is 54 inches wide, 18 inches deep and 66 inches high. It is a beautiful cabinet that came right out of the original home where it was purchased brand new. I have to say it came from my high school principal’s mother’s home. So, I must have been okay for him to deal with me 40 plus years later, either that or he lost his memory! Anyways, it has four adjustable shelves, tons of storage, extra wide closet, triple plate grooves, very rare reverse glass on the outside and bowed door glass on the inside.

1) Crated Driveway Delivery: The crated driveway delivery is our first choice depending on location, or for customers who require an expedited timeframe. Please note that you will have to be available at the time of delivery to assist in removing the item from the back of the truck, and you will be responsible for disposing of the packing and shipping materials after you are finished unpacking your item. We can usually accommodate requests for expedited shipping, but please be sure to contact us at John at MaineAntiqueFurniture dot Com or 1.207.314.9621 before offerding to make sure we can comply with your needs. Customers will be emailed a tracking number to their email address on file with once the item leaves our warehouse so you can anticipate the delivery. Please be sure that the email address attached to your email account is up-to-date, and that you check your SPAM filter for any emails from us, as we do often use email to communicate with our customers.
2) White Glove Delivery Service: We use assorted companies for the transportation of most of our white glove delivery services that are within our normal delivery area. We have used them repeatedly, and find them to be trustworthy and reliable. Their delivery timeframe is usually around 45-60 days and the item can be brought right into the first floor of your home or office normally. They will also dispose of the packing materials for you after helping to set the item in place. Online tracking information is unavailable for these deliveries, as they are a small, independent company. You may, however, contact us at anytime for a shipping update. Please note: Some locations have a longer delivery time, especially if they are on the edge of the delivery areas, and many locations have a shorter time frame, especially more metropolitan areas as well as most locations on the East coast. Timeframes are not intended as guarantees, and actual timeframes and delivery circumstances will vary depending on your location, truck routes and schedules, and other factors like the weather. The quotes listed in our ads are offered to our customers at our bulk discount rate, and are provided as a courtesy only. You are welcome to use any company that you may desire. Moving antique furniture safely is a science. Please be aware of this when you are considering the timeframe for your shipment. If you would like to hire your own shipper or want to come pick up the item yourself, please feel free to do so. The hours of availability are usually Monday – Thursday 9:30 – 3:30. We require notice 24 hours via email in advance of any pick-up to ensure someone will be available to meet you at the warehouse. There is no charge for scheduling a pick up at our location. If paying with PayPal, please just select the Local Pick Up option at check out. Please be advised that anyone picking up that is not a licensed carrier will be subject to 5.5% ME State Sales Tax.
