The book measures 7\"x4½\", it has a portrait frontispiece and [16] +360 + [8] + 308 +[2] pages, Wing H226 complete, the second part has a separate title pge, the final leaf is a blank.

CONDITION

The book is bound inrubbed but soundfull calf,. The pastedown bears an owner\'s bookplate. The free endpaper has an extensive ink inscription ( an extract from Washington Irving\'s Early life of Washington.). The plate has offset a little into the title page. The text has a little very light edge staining in a few places, one page hasn some reapired tears;it is otherwise clean and crisp and all is well bound PARCELS ARE INSURED.
