17-18TH century PidyonHaben Shekel Jehovah Medal. Obverse: Ritual chalice with rays of suncomes out of it and below,\"Jehovah\" (The true name of God). Reverse: In center, the tree oflife. On top, the Hebrew name \"Pinchas\", which is probably themaker\'s name. On both sides of the tree the Hebrew word\"Shekel\".
Medal believed to be made in Holland(Netherland/Dutch) and used for the Jewish ritual of \"Pidyon Haben\". Similarmedal is in the Kadman Numismatic Museum at Museum Ha\'aretz, Tel Aviv Israel.The Kadman museum piece is illustrated in private catalog (Made by privatecollector, who got permission to the museum collection). The catalog estimatethe date of this medal to be made between the year 1600 and 1800 and statesthat few of this medal are known to exist.
