DESCRIPTION:
This listing is for a lovely antique cloth felt doll \"As Found\". Reference shows similar dolls made in the 1930s by Raynal, Gre-Poir, Lenci and Venus. From a doll estate I do not know her past history but will describe the best I can. Measures just over 17\" tall she is all cloth felt, disc jointed at the shoulders and legs, has a flat neck joint. There is stitching down the center of her torso, arms and legs, she has mitten type hands with individual thumbs, the fingers have stitching. Body shows overall wear, some light staining throughout, see photos. Her torso feels possibly straw stuffed with arms and legs have the feel of being excelsior stuffed. A sweet little face with oil painted brown eyes, upper hair lashes on the eye lids, painted gray highlight under the eye lashes, a white accent dot to the side of each pupil, she has painted dark brows and painted heart shape mouth. Light rose color blush on her cheeks. Some overall wear on her face but nothing terrible. Her auburn hair is glued on her head in a bob style, I do not know her past history and or if this is replacement hair, it may be. Doll wears a white organdy dress, blue slip, one piece knit undies that are torn, stockings and felt shoes. Selling her in the condition I purchased her in. She displays well sitting or standing with a doll stand. Doll stand is not included. Offering AS is condition shown with a Buy It Now listing.
