DESCRIPTION:

This listing is for a adorable \"old\" antique Armand Marseille German baby doll, 1910+. Incised on the back of head is \"Germany, 971, A 5/0 M, DRGM\". Doll measures about 17\" tall being a bisque socket head with jointed composition papier-mache baby doll body. Strung fine she is jointed at the neck, shoulders and legs. Overall wear & scuffs throughout body, paint touch up throughout body, paint loss for being 100 or so years old, see photos. She has all her fingers intact, outlined with red lines for that realistic look. This doll has a \"sweet\" little face with \"fixed\" open brown glass eyes. She has painted lashes around the eyes, \"re-painted\" brows, open mouth with two upper teeth. Lovely blush on the face, some wear on the bisque, there is an old mohair blonde wig secure on her head. I did not remove her pate since eyes have been \"fixed\" to stay open. I can still stuff her head with tissue if you wish. I do not see any cracks or hairlines around the bisque head. Baby wears light yellow gown that buttons down the back, matching bonnet, slip, undies, and knit booties. Clothing is charming and in nice condition. I have taken plenty of photos, please look at my photos to serve as part of this description. This is a lovely older doll for collection or display! Not perfect, but a vintage \"Treasure\".
