17-inch doll with vinyl head, stuffed vinyl body. Made in thbe late 1950s. Head has faint markings that appear to have been rubbed out of the mold; you can tell something was there but it is not readable. Body marked: IDEAL DOLL P17 0. The head appears identical to that used by Ideal for their 17-inch Shirley Temple of the era, but there is no record of Ideal making Shirley with a stuffed vinyl body, and the red hair color and ponytail style are not right for Shirley, so this doll is a mystery. Definitely original; cute, in very good vintage condition but NO SHOES, NO SOCKS; read condition specs & offer accordingly. Will mail to United States address only. Buy more items, get a lower postage cost.
