This is a a Papal Bull from Pope Clement XIII. Pope Clement was born on March 7, 1693, died on February 2, 1769) and was born to the name of Carlo della Torre di Rezzonico. He served as Pope from from 6 July 1758 to his death in 1769 and was consecrated on 16 July 1758. A papal bull is a particular type of letters patent or charter issued by a Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. . It is named after the lead seal or Bulla that was attached to the end in order to authenticate it. This document is on high quality vellum and measures 11.5 inches by 7.5 inches. There are twenty-one (21) lines of script in a dark brown ink, in Latin, with an intact lead seal attached to the document by a brown cord. The seal is that of Pope Clement XIII and features an images of St. Peter and St Paul facing each other with a Crucifix in the center. The reverse of the seal contains the words \"Clemens Papa XIII\". This document is believed to be an addendum to the document of September 13, 1758 entitled \"A Quo Die\" or \"On The Union Among Christians\". This document is in Fine Condition
