A lovely Georgian sterling sauce boat.
This sauce boat in excellent condition. Featuring shelled feet and a lovely repousse pattern it was made by William Cripps of London in 1770. The front of the boat bears a seated dog and hand with a sword. It measures 7 1/4 inches front to back, 3 1/2 inches at the widest point, 4 1/8 inches at the tallest point, and weighs a substantial 280.7 grams.
