Document Signed being a James River Bank Note, dated April 1, 1773.
Signatureson a five-pound note; also signed byRobert Carter Nicholasas the bank\'s treasurer. Also faintly signed by John Blair.
Randolph, Peyton (1721-1775),Virginia jurist, first President of the Continental Congress (1774-1775).

A RARE SIGNED DOCUMENT SIGNED BY RANDOLPH WHO DIED AT THE VERY BEGINNING OF THE BIRTH OF OUR NATION.Blair was later a signer of the U.S. Constitution; Nicholas was the only member of the Virginia Assembly who voted against adoption of the Declaration of Independence.

Condition - Some paper breaks/splits with minor missing pieces at and below \"rg\" in \"Virginia\" that goes to bottom of note. John Blair\'s signature is light. Document has been silked years ago.
