1780 to 1860 LEDGER:
$50.00

This cardboard bound ledger came down to me from mygrandparents but I know nothing else about it. I believe it is from somewherein upstate New York, as I found an ancestor\'s name (Thomas Marvin) among theentries and he was from the Fulton area. Some pages at the front might bemissing. The first existing page begins with the date of February 1, 1780. Thelast entry is dated April 10, 1860, although the ink is very faded and it\'sdifficult to be sure. Some of the pages are crumbling and the ink is sometimesfaded but there are still many entries that can be deciphered.

Unfortunately, many, many years ago, my older brother foundthis ledger, apparently when he was just learning cursive writing in the \'40s,and wrote his name on several of the pages and did some scribbling too. Atleast he wrote in pencil. Overall, the ledger is not in great shape but it isstill an article of interest to those interested in history.

Please contact me if you need further photos orhave any questions. I tried to show as many aspects of the ledger as possible. Ivalue my 100% positive response, so if there is any problem with your purchase, please let me know immediately. I will do what is necessary to make it right.
