Presented for sale is this Antique Georgian Solid Silver Old English Pattern Tablespoon, hallmarked for London 1798 by Solomon Hougham.

This lovely antique Georgian solid silver table spoon is finished in the Old English pattern and has the initials JM to the terminals. It is hallmarked to the reverse of the terminal with the Lion Passant denoting solid sterling silver, the London assay office Crowned Leopards head, the Date letter C for 1798, the Duty mark of King George III\'s head and the makers mark SH for Solomon Hougham, please see all the additional photos.

Measuring 8 1/2\" long approx. it is in good antique used condition with just some tiny shallow indentations to the bowl nothing too serious, there are no splits or repairs and it weighs 52grams or 1.67 troy ounces by my postal scales.
