A very early and unusual old master oil on canvas from the middle of the 17th century - thsi work depicts a Sybil (an ancient female oracle) alongside a prophet who is recoridng her prophecies. This work is very well painted - it needs cleaning and some restoration but is beautifully painted. The subject is very rare.Title: “Sibyl & Prophet”
