This sale is for a very old Blackthorn Irish Shillelagh. This one can be dated by the silver hallmark on the band. It is hard to read but the silverband is sterling and was made in London possibly by Huebert Tornhill in the mid 1800\'s. The date letter looks like 1836 but that may be too early for Huebert. Never the less it\'s a very old walking stick. It measures about 39\" and it is still very strong. There is some patchy spots on the staff and it is missing the cane tip. The burl head looks like someone put a piece in or maybe a oldrepair.The silver band has a great Irish harp and clover around it. Sold with ! Thanks for your offer and Good Luck!
