A wonderful antique teapot. Made by Meriden B. Company between the mid to late 1800\'s. Very ornatedesign workthroughout. I found a letter from the originalowner tucked inside the teapot. She had given the teapot to her great grand-daughter as a gift. She dated thepiece to 1886.The 11th picture shows a copy of the letter.The letter is NOT included with the purhcase. I gave it back to the owner.
Measurements: 9\" tall to the top of the finial x 9\" wide from spout to handle.
Condition. Overall greatconsidering the age! It does need to be polished and inside needs to be cleaned a bit ( or left as is if you wanted). There is just a very slight \"wobble\", so I assume one of the legs might need to be adjusted.
