~Description~
In this sale we have a wonderful 1800’s Vase. It is HAND BLOWN Mother-of-pearl glass, or pearl satin glass, (or called by some \"Cut Velvet\") was first made in the 1850\'s in England and in Massachusetts (Boston Sandwich Glass Co.). It was a special type of mold-blown satin glass with air bubbles Layered in between the different colors of Cased glass, giving it a pearlized soft color. Exposure to acid vapor gave the piece its satin finish. It was made in several different patterns and this one is called Diagonal Rib in the very hard to find Peach or Apricot Color! There is a beautiful polished pontil on the bottom. Don’t miss out!
**Size** It is 8 ΒΌ” tall
**Condition** In beautiful condition with no chips or cracks, there are two tiny surfaced air bubbles as shown.
PLEASE be sure and look at all the pictures so you can see for yourself the condition as most of our items are old and therefore subject to minor age wear.
