1800s Austrian Silver Souvenir Spoon w/ St. John the Baptist & Franz-Josef Tower:

Presented is an interesting antique silver and enameled spoon from Austria featuring the images of the head of St. John the Baptist and city of Teplitz (Linz), Austria.

It bears the maker\'s mark, \"ND\", the stamp, \"Depose\", the 800 silver purity mark, and the date letter indicating that it was made circa the late 1800s or very early 1900s.

This piece features a handle design with the blue, brown, and gold enameledimage of the head of St. John the Baptiston a platter.

The bowl displays the \"Kaiser Franz Joseph Warte\" tower overlooking the city of Linz (Teplitz).

The matte-finish enameling is in great shape in the bowl and on the bright blue enamel on the top of the handle of the spoon, but there are chips to the enamel of the thin part of the handle. Overall it is not noticeable.
