Up for sale is a late 1800s wine bottle completely covered with barnacles all over. The bottle is hand blown and made in a turn mold, has a slight kick-up bottom with an applied sloping collar lip. It is about 9 \" tall and the bottle was recovered last month. As mentioned, the bottle is covered all over with barnacles and is free of chips or cracks. There is some staining both inside and out has no embossing on the side. The color is dark olive. The bottle dates 1880s-1900 and was a wine bottle of some type. It displays great and the last photo shows some of the new arrivals from this month. See my other sales for more. Due to the fragile nature of the barnacles I pack these well in larger size boxes.
