This item is a 1812-1912 Patriotic War Medal. Imperial Russian Commemorative Medal issued around 1912. The front shows a picture of Alexander 1, emperior and the back has a quotation written in Russian (not sure what it says).

This item is in pretty nice shape considering how long its been around. My pictures do not do it justice as I don\'t have a close up lens to work with.
