A very scarce copy of The Harmony of the Law and the Gospel with regard to the Doctrine of a Future State by Thomas William Lancaster.

Thomas William Lancaster, M.A. (1787 - 1869), was a vicar of Banbury and fellow of Queen\'s College,Oxford. In 1831, he published The Popular Evidence of Christianity: Stated and Examined. This was followedin 1848 by Vindiciae Symbolicae: or a Treatise on Creeds, Articles of Faith, and Articles of Doctrine. In 1884, after his death, The Nicomachean ethics of Aristotle was published. In 1831, he gave the Bampton Lecture on The Popular Evidence of Christianity.

CONDITION

In a contemporary quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. Externally, sound but with some wear to extremities,marks and stains to boards. Internally, generally firmly bound. Bright but with some foxing to endpapers, and spotting and marks to pages, predominantly to text block edges, slight tidemarks to frontand with occasional annotations.
