Morgan], 1827 [©1826]. 1st Edition.This is an extremely scarce Masonic publication by William Morgan, a controversial piece which in fact led to the authors kidnapping and disappearance as many thought Morgan published the book to \'spill the beans\' about the then super secretive Masonic society. \"End of the first part.\"--Page 96-- contains a small blurb that speaks of the kidnapping and subsequent trial in Canandaigua, NY, as shown. Original blue paper wraps with rounding and some chipping, as shown with thread binding; intact. Complete; 96 pages which are toned, a few shaken leaves with a few creases, chips and again some rounding, else fine. Measures 6.75\" x 4.5\". Very rare and VERY valuable. Also,a rarely seen very early Rochester NY imprint. Good luck!
