Very attractive cow horn beaker. Nicely chosen with a good gradation of toning. Lovely condition with no chips or splits and not at all warped. The base perfectly set with no gaps. No chips at all to the lip. There are two small silver pins flush with the groove. So I imagine it would have had a silver rim originally. Applied silver plaque which unusually not only has initials, but a date 1836 and the place of origin, Lynn (King\'s Lynn in Norfolk.) Stands 8cm high. The top has a diameter of 5.9cm.
