A small hardback book. Loosely protected in a clear acetate sleeve. Original cloth covers. Gilt decoration and lettering to the front board, with blind-stamped decoration to the rear board. Professional restoration to the lightly chipped corners and to the darkened spine. Gilt decoration and lettering to the spine moderately faded. Minor stain to the top corner of the rear board. Gilt finish to all page-edges. End-papers professionally and sympathetically replaced. Some light foxing to the early preliminaries, with some slightly heavier foxing/staining effecting 6/7 leaves towards the rear of the book. 166pp, with 2pp adverts to the rear. Complete with engravings and four hand-coloured plates by John Leech.Please refer to the uploaded images for a clear indication of both condition and content.
