1847 Rogers Bros Silver Plate VINTAGE Grape Pattern Gravy Ladle circa 1904:
$6.99
The Vintage pattern of silver-plated flatware was introduced by International Silver Co. in 1904 and continuously produced until about 1918, with new pieces being added to the line from time to time. International sold Vintage under its 1847 Rogers Bros. mark, the mark it used for its highest quality flatware. The Vintage pattern design features multiple grape clusters with leaves and tendrils on the handles. The gravy ladle has a nice repousse-style in the bowl with the grape ivy design pressed from the back and raised a little from the surface.
Due to the age of the ladle, there is slight plate loss showing up on one spot of spoon.(shown in last picture above)....Otherwise, this piece shined up beautifully and would make a wonderful addition to anyone collecting this particular pattern.
Length of ladle is 7 1/8\".
