One full page beautifully handwritten letter headed \"Fredricktown - Nov.14,1849\" sent to H.B.Curtiss of Mt.Vernon. Both are Ohio towns. Several men recommend Gruman Purdy to work in the Post Office at Mt.Vernon, Ohio because he lost his job in Fredricktown. Interesting stampless letter that still has the full red wax seal by the address. Excellent Condition . Please see scans for more details. See front and back of letter.
