~ Rare Stunning 1850s to 1860s era Straw and Silk Bonnet ~

The Hat ~ Offering a beautiful rare circa 1860 Victorian mid 19th century original antique bonnet. Made of intricately woven straw with raised interwoven straw berry vine and leaves ~ Raw edged silk ruffle encircles the face, and back crown with a faintly pink silk and green floral design and dangling raw edged silk at side. The hat originally would have had ties in front at neckline, which are now tattered, and not fully intact (as shown) The lining is nearly fully intact, and is made of a sheer stiff buckram like cotton and some silk.

Fantastic Very Good Antique Complete Condition. Straw is excellent with little to no breaks, and the silk for the most part is also excellent. Silk has some tatter and shattering to the ties at neckline, and is somewhat delicate, but is nearly fully intact. The lining is a stiff semi sheer cotton, and some silk. Fit\'s an adult woman\'s head size,
