This sale is for an original 1860 Presidential Campaign button of Abraham Lincoln and Hannibal Hamlin.

I purchased this thirty five years ago at a home in my home town Springfield, Illinois. This button had been in the same family since the 1860\'s. I also purchased a letter from Robert Todd Lincoln at the same estate sale and will be listing it later today. The family I purchased this from was a prominent family in the 1800\'s and their son went to school with Robert and John Hay.
