ORIGINAL BOUND 1860 YEAR OF HARPER\'S WEEKLY - Complete 832 pagebound volume of Harper\'s Weekly, with the volume containing all 52 issues(January 7 through December 29) profusely illustrated with hundreds of woodengravings, illustrations and photo prints of places, sports, Presidents,famous people, etc. Volume contains no supplements. Solid binding with about a1 inch tear on each side at top of spine.


This volume contains final eventsleading to the Civil War- The Democratic Convention in Charleston, SouthCarolina; and the Republican Convention in Chicago, Illinois. The election ofAbraham Lincoln. The succession of the South Carolina delegation.


All multiple page prints aretipped unless noted (This eliminates binding holes on multiple pageillustrations.).


The overall interior condition istruly superb with almost no foxing (Just minor spots here and there.), no tears(Except some really minor border tears, i.e. the January 21 issue), no taping ortoning. All issues are crisp, bright andsharp almost as the day they were printed. All pages are present.
