An unused Civil War Patriotic envelope depicting the fable of the Fox and the Grapes. The fox is wearing a coat with the initials J.D. (Jefferson Davis) and has a ring of eight stars on its tail. It is separated from \"The Washington Grapes\" by a row of bayonets. The caption reads: \"The Chances Are Scaly\". This envelope measures 138mm x 78mm. See scans for condition.

Shipping in the United States will be $3.50 for a first class parcel with tracking.
International Shipping: You have two options – Standard Shipping is $12.00 and Economy Shipping is $4.50. Standard Shipping will be on your invoice. Your item is shipped as a first class package and sent between two pieces of stiff cardboard to prevent damage. With Economy Shipping, your item will be shipped as a first class letter with thin cardboard packaging. If you want Economy Shipping, let me know after you receive your invoice and I will send you a new invoice. Standard Shipping is good for up to 8 ounces. Economy Shipping is good for up to 3 ounces.
Special shipping options are available. If you want your package sent Registered Mail, it is $13.95 plus regular shipping charges. I will combine lots to keep shipping fees as low as possible.
