Up for sale is a vintage Civil War Era Soldier letter, written on patriotic letterhead, datelined November 20, 1861, Camp Dugles Brigade Number 2, Chicago. I believe that should be Douglas. Writer mentions getting ready to go south, perhaps to New Orleans. Writer says he is at the worst place to write. He thinks war will be over next summer. Letter written by William Patterson to his family.
