This lot is for a nice HAND SIGNED 1861dated Confederate $4 Interest Payment Note from a $100 Bond made to finance the Civil War (lot #4).The signature is hand signed & you can see the live ink with a loop or under any kind of magnification. It is Photo\'d next to a US Ike $1 coin so you can tell what size it is. The Ike $1 is NOT included in this sale.

Note says; \"\" C.S. Loan of August 19 - 1861. The Confederate States of America will pay bearer FOUR DOLLARS for six months interest due july 1, 1867. On Bond #797 for $100. For the Register of The Treasury \"\" followed by the signature.

We have a small batch of these & other denominations & every note & signature is a little different.This is a small size note that was cut from a largeBond, it\'s approx. 1 x 3 inches. It hasa bold signature & alllettering/print is very easy to see. It does show some handling but paper is still crisp & its a very nice item considering its 150 +years old! Nice eye appeal with good color on an original lot that has never been cleaned or messed with. THIS IS NOT A STOCK PHOTO, YOU GET THE ACTUAL LOT SHOWN IN PICS. This lot will make a nice addition to any collection or set.
