1862 CIVIL WAR LETTER CAMP WARREN WASHINGTON DC on ORIGINAL LETTER HEAD PAPER

An original Civil War letter written on letter head paper from Camp Warren in Washington, D.C. This letter is from a brother to his sister. I don\'t know who the soldier was because he never signed the letter or I don\'t have it all. He ended the letter with \" I shall expect a letter \" (I don\'t think it is actually the end). The letter is dated with (what looks like) Jan 30th 1862?. He has reference to \" the Burnside Expedition \", \" L.W. Allen \", \" prisoners here \", and \" death from the measles.\" (he, also, is not very happy that no one has written to him). This letter measures approximately 9 7/8\" across x 7 7/8\" high (opened up all the way). It is in good condition with everything being readable. There are only two, tiny, holes at the fold in the middle, a couple of small edge tears, and some foxing to the paper (light brown spots). This is an interesting original Civil War letter with a great letter head. It will be very nice added to any collection. There is no envelope. Being offered with .
