This original volume from 1863 has been rebound with new covers. A few pages have short edge tears (page 116, 117) and page 507 is attach to the next page (no printing on back side of page 507), there\'s a vertical light crease on same page with a tear on right side of page (all intact). Maybe a repair that was done when book was rebound! Some very light foxing to some pages- I did not see a lot of foxing and the pages looked clean to me.

I did see a brown stain at the top of the pages from page 184 to 237 that range from 1/16\" to 1/4\" down from the top of page to about 7/8\" wide which varied in width from page 184 to 237 (see photo # 9). All the engravings and pages had no real issues and looked in excellent condition! I did not see any missing or loose pages or engravings!
