Up for sale is a vintage Civil War Era Soldier letter datelined Camp Dennison, September 21, 1864. Letter is primarily of a what\'s going on around camp nature, and that when they arrived at Columbus from Mansfield, they put the men in a hog pen, and next day moved to present location in Cincinnati area. he mentions drilling and standing guard, that they got paid a few days ago, and the writer received $27. He writes that seven have been taken for their barracks and sent to the hospital, including one insane soldier. Letter written by William Wallace Ashley, Company \"D\", 32nd Ohio. Letter a bit hard to read, but I got through it, so anyone should be able to get through it. There are some challenges along the way.
