Original vintage 1865 stereoscopic photograph probably published by the E. & H.T. Anthony Company, New York. This stereoview has pencil identification inscribed verso and it reads \"Broadway looking north.\" Another brief note states: \"Note \"Photographs\" sign on roof.\" This is the gallery of the photographer Dechaux. This sign is visible at left side of view on second building from the left. The scene shows the funeral procession of the slain U.S. President Abraham Lincoln. Each side of the street is packed with mourners as the troops in the street march toward the viewer. Some minor edge wear to two corners of card mount. Prints are OverallExcellent Conditionand the 3-D depth also is Excellent. Guaranteed Original. See two scans for details. PLEASE NOTE: It has been brought to my attention that this may NOT be a view of the Lincoln funeral procession, but rather a Union Day Parade celebrating victory in the war. I\'m just not sure so if you\'re a buyer, you should probably research it.
