The Order of the Eastern Star is a fraternal organization designed to include the female relatives of Freemasons. It was established in 1850 by Rob Morris who handed it over to Robert Macoy (1815-1895) in 1866. This volume is a manual for many of the rites and rituals of the organization, and was respectively printed in 1866 here as well, making this a first edition.
