Offered is a wonderful old letter advertising the History of the Old 76th, 76th NY Infantry Regiment, written by a veteran of the unit, A Smith, Cortland NY Dec 25th 1866. Letter folded, light soiling. Letter sent to it appears friends and fellow veterans to let them know the book would soon be available. A neat find for any Civil War collection, as these types of letters just did not survive. It measures 7 7/8\"w x 9 7/8\". A nice find.
