This amazing portrait of President Lincolncame from a local collector.She took it to the Appleton Museumhere in Ocala Florida to have itinspected. (Invoice proof - inspectedand researched $100.00 receipt paid April 10, 2013)The signature cannot be easilyseen because this paintinghas never been cleaned.But the researcher \"Artistic Eye Art Services, LLC\"stated it is there and signed byE.Theo Mills dated 1869.They also removed it from the frame.You can see it is not attached anymore.Frame measures: 28 by 33 inches.Canvas measures: 22 by 27 inches.Canvas has a few scuff \"white\" areasas shown in the photos.It could be pro-cleaned if desired.The frame has a few chips here and there.Wooden and were were toldit is original .Please review the photos.It has been an honor for me to havethis in my home knowing it datesback to 1869 and imagining allthe lovely souls that appreciatedthe warm loving face of Mr. Lincoln.The 16thPresidentof the USA.One of his famous quotes thatI enjoy and appreciate:\"Marriage is neither heaven nor hell, it is simply purgatory.\"Abraham LincolnPhotos show all!Stored smoke free!
