Description

This is a chance to own a scarce original photographic stereoview dating to the late 1870s or 1880s. It is from the \'Hayward & Muzzall\'s Views of Santa Barbara and Vicinity\' series and shows a rock formation, probably in the \'Devil\'s Playground\' but has the card title for \'157 Grizzly Giant, 93 feet in circumference\' (a giant tree image). This is one of a number of photographic images currently listed which may have interest to collectors of early photography. Condition

Please note that this item is approximately 140 years old and has been used.Overall it is in good photographic condition but the mount may have marks consistent with age and usage and there is a crease between the images.
